Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a simple way to increase the value of your gift to Paxos Festival Trust if you pay tax in the UK. Go to the 'Support us' page to select the relevant Gift Aid declaration form to accompany your payment by BACS or by cheque.

Making your donation using Gift Aid will enable us to reclaim the basic rate tax of 20% and also extra tax relief. Currently, the benefit is 25p for each £1 you give. For example: if you give £10 to the Trust using Gift Aid, we can reclaim £2.50, making your gift worth £12.50 to us.

In order for us to reclaim the tax, we will need a simple Gift Aid Declaration from you giving us your name, address and postcode. In the tax year your donation is received, you must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that the Trust reclaims on your donations.

If you are a higher rate taxpayer, you can claim relief on the difference between the basic rate and higher rate of tax.

Should your circumstances change and you stop paying income/capital gains tax, please notify us so that we can cancel your Declaration. Similarly, please notify us of any changes to your name or address.

You can cancel your Gift Aid Declaration at any time by notifying Paxos Festival Trust info@paxosfestival.org.uk.
